Overall, the cabins are decently sized; however, they could do with a bit more closet space. Most rooms are outfitted with a queen bed that can be converted into two separate twin beds for a single person. The rooms range in price, with inside and studio staterooms at the lower end of the totem pole and the luxe haven suites at the other end. An inside stateroom is indoors; studio staterooms are intended for the solo traveler; ocean-view rooms provide window views; and balcony rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony. Rather than having one large, central pool deck, Prima has three different pool areas allowing guests to spread out, and the two infinity pools give the appearance of spilling over into the ocean. But the crown jewel in the ship's thoughtful design is the Concourse, which features a multi-million-dollar outdoor sculpture garden.

The food at all of the specialty restaurants was wonderful, and I was definitely stuffed afterward. You can make reservations for specialty dining venues and the main dining rooms before embarkation and while on board at either a dining desk or on the TV system in the room. The TV system allows you to make a reservation, but not cancel one, so I had to wait in the dining desk line anyway. Cabin service is once a day, which means no turndown service or towel animals, but you can call the cabin steward if you need anything.
